Bringing BoardSource to our community
Last year, we kicked off an exciting discovery process to explore how shared services could better support our nonprofit community—and this spring, we’re thrilled to share the first major outcome of that work.

Why BoardSource?
We learned from you specialization matters. Highly valued services were those requiring professional training and technical expertise that small organizations cannot realistically build in-house.
We also heard risk reduction is a strong motivator. Many saw these services as a way to prevent harm — compliance failures, financial errors, staff burnout, and reputational risk.
And you told us access must be fast and flexible. Many emphasized that help must be available when needed — including evenings, emergencies, and urgent scenarios.
And cost must be predictable and fair. Interviewees emphasized the importance of sliding-scale pricing, clear cost structures, evidence of real savings, and systems that ensure participants have “skin in the game.”
Nonprofit Support Network believes access to BoardSource provides all these benefits, and more!
Let’s talk and see if a BoardSource affiliate membership through Nonprofit Support Network is the right fit for your organization.
